We don't recommend tinting your vehicle prior to MD inspection. For Cars, or the two front windows of Trucks and SUVs, the MD pass inspection limit is 35%. Even if 35% tint is installed, it may read around 30% due to slight factory darkness  build into the glass. It is best to tint after inspection (if one is required at all). Different states have different % limits, please refer to your state regulations.
